{"id":12667,"date":"2024-10-31T09:13:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T09:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/angolanembassy-nga.ao\/?p=12667"},"modified":"2024-10-31T09:13:53","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T09:13:53","slug":"electricity-tcn-restores-bulk-supply-to-seven-northern-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/angolanembassy-nga.ao\/?p=12667","title":{"rendered":"Electricity: TCN restores bulk supply to seven northern states\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By Obas Esiedesa, Abuja<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, on Wednesday night, disclosed that it had successfully restored bulk power supply through its 330KV Ugwuaji-Apir transmission Line 1 to seven northern states, following the repair of the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TCN, in a statement by General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, disclosed that repair works on the line were completed at 4:56 p.m., on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She stated that \u201cWith the restoration of this line, the Apir-Lafia 330kV transmission line 2 is now operational.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlso, bulk power transmission has been restored to Lafia, Makurdi, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, and Gombe states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRestoration efforts continue, with the TCN engineering team preparing to commence work on the second 330kV transmission line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll necessary materials for the repairs are on hand.
